National Garden – Zappeion
Our National Garden has been designated a historic site and is a monument of both natural and cultural heritage. Its decorative elements, its botanical wealth, its compositions and its water features reflect our history. The statues of important figures tell us about their lives and work.
We also visit the Zappeion Megaron and learn about the national benefactors who funded it and about the first modern Olympic Games it hosted.
