Pnyx

We start from Dionysiou Areopagitou to reach the three hills of Athens: the Muses, the Nymphs and the Pnyx. We walk along Pikionis's cobbled path leading to the 'Prison of Socrates'. The landscape is a good occasion to speak about the Greek philosopher and his contribution to the realm of the spirit.

The Pnyx is the cradle of Athenian Democracy: here the Assembly of the People convened, and here Pericles, Themistocles and Demosthenes spoke.
